With the release of Game Caddie 5.0, several new features have been added and some things have changed. Here is a quiz to test your knowledge of the latest version.
According to Rule 2.1 in the APBA Golf Master Game Rulebook (that comes with the game), “A ball is in the ‘intermediate rough’ if it lies in the rough one square away from the fairway.” Personally, I amend this slightly when I play. I call a ball in the intermediate rough when the lie is in the rough and less than one full square from the fairway. If it’s exactly one square away from the fairway, I call it regular rough. I also call any ball that’s in the rough within one square of the green regular rough.
